Oh yeah - while I'm thanking people for help with my PC, I suppose I ought to thank my nefew (EvO) who paid for it all - cheers m8 - my Wednesday pay days have been rearranged to accomodate repayment.

That reminds me - big shout out to Soulcrow for putting my PC back together for me (would have taken me at least 2 or 3 times longer with lots of umming and ahhing) and to everyone who lent tools and just generally milled around watching Soul work. It was really indicative of all the great people ...

Yup, was a good crack - well done guys and gals.

Completed Quake 4 - gameplay's ok, story was a bit disapointing - HL2, Doom3 and Halo all mixed into one. On the whole, it kept me entertained for a couple of days but didn't get me jumping up and down shouting "this is great." Basically, nothing new here.

Haven't tried multiplayer yet.
