Medway/maidstone tabletop meetup

Any thoughts, ideas etc on things that could be done as a "group"?

Medway/maidstone tabletop meetup

Post by Panda_Pops »

Hey guys, me and sarainy are thinking of getting sone people together in the chatham or maidstone area to play some tabletop games like munchkin, cards against humanity and secret hitler, and some other more serious games.
would anyone local be interested? Location would most likely be a pub or something

There are a few venues that may be more suitable for you than a pub :)

I know Rochester Models and Games have tables that are available, may be worth seeing if you can organise something there? very close to the station and some parking available, plus they have a small tuck shop that does snacks and drinks (or at least they used to).

I'm sure there are others that are more central depending on who is going :)
If it bleeds, we can fry it :0D

I'd definitely be up for this :) I'll be moving closer to Medway this year hopefully, so travel won't be an issue!

Hoping to make a topic on suggestions for outside-LAN social things... Could this be included as a suggestion? :D

Thinking about it, we could arrange a day to get a bunch of us together play a board game on tabletop simulator. For a game that was poorly advertised as a generic 'simulator' game its actually really good for this because of all the community made games available.

Amber is right.

Table Top Simulator has so many games recreated by the community on the workshop.

It's brilliant.

I'd be up for trying some out on there :)

Worth the £14.99 or something to pick up in a sale?

I would say it is worth the full price if you can guarantee playing it with people... but if it takes a while to arrange something then probably could just wait until either 'zero hour' or a sale - whichever comes first!
