LlamaLAN 22 - Games Announcements (Mailer 2 of 3)

Post by CyberDrac »

LlamaLANers, with the 1v1 out of the way, let's look towards some of the rest of our team games ...

Big Evening Game - anyone who has been closely watching the LlamaLAN Facebook group will have already noticed the post about our intentions for this. In keeping with the chosen Medieval theme for the event we chose the LAN favourite ... CHIVALRY : MEDIEVAL WARFARE.

Following the success of the hugely fun Titan mode game of Battlefield 2142 that we played at the last event we look to merging the two of each of the four Big Teams together to form two MEGA TEAMS. For reasons that should become obvious in a moment we should be able to get at least double the team size of a Big Team Game on each side, plus everyone else who has subbed in or just happened to have the game installed and wants in on the action ... it would be great to literally make this a WHOLE LAN GAME with every single participant in that server.

Big Team Game 1 - we believe in getting value for money for your games purchases, and so anyone who has put their hands in their pockets for the Big Evening Game that we've already promoted (or are about to buy should it be put on offer during the imminent Steam Summer Sale) will be rewarded by already having the game for this tournament, yes that's right, it is also ... CHIVALRY : MEDIEVAL WARFARE.

We will specify a minimum team size that we feel should be easily fielded by each and every team in the tournament, should the game benefit from larger team sizes and the game list shows that if it feasible based on cold hard statistics then we will consider fielding a larger team size. This, as with all events, will require everyone participating in LlamaLAN 22 to UPDATE THEIR GAMES LISTS to reflect whether they have the games to be played in the tournaments. This is the secondary function of the Games List, once a game is chosen it is a VITAL tool in determining the team sizes. Until that time you can plan on this being a 5v5 tournament.

TWO out of THREE complete ... past the half way mark for the announcement of the games for the event, one more mailer to reveal, I can feel the tension in the Interwebs!
