Server co-location?

Post by ilumos »

Hi Guys,

We've got a server we take with us to LANs which we use to host a few games that perform better when running dedicated - is it OK to bring it and plug it into your power and network?

It's a headless 2U with a 400W PSU.

Cheers :)

Hiya, that should be fine. I'm assuming it is configured or DHCP? If so, if you can let me know the MAC I'll setup a reservation to make life easier for you.

Obviously if we do suffer any power problems it will be at the top of the list for kit to turn off, although I don't expect any power issues.
If it bleeds, we can fry it :0D
